Remember actor Raveendhar. He was a prominent face in early 80s, who acted in a host of movies along with the likes of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan.

After a long gap, he made a comeback to big screen with Sathyaraj's 6.2 released last week.

On asked about his comeback, Raveendhar says "since I was busy with my business venture, I could not continue acting. Though I was away from cinema, I was keeping in touch whenever I got an opportunity. I acted in a couple of films directed by Malayalam directors Priyadharshan and Fazil."

But how did the Tamil film happened?

It is one of those things, he says. "When the producers of 6.2 approached me to make a comeback in Tamil, I immediately accepted it. I have acted with Sathyaraj in movies like Vidinja Kalyanam, Thiramai and Iravu Pookal before."

What are his plans now?

Business is a no, no, he says. "From here on, I will be concentrating only in cinema. I am ready to do negative roles".

Are you, producers and directors, listening?
