Shops in Hyderabad are going to function on an odd-even formula basis. Odd numbered shops will open only on odd numbered days of the week. Even numbered shops will open only on even numbered days of the week. Monday is Day 1, Tuesday is Day 2. So on and so forth. Containment Zones' shops are closed till May 31 on all days.

If you are visiting a shop or if you are a shop-keeper, here is what you should bear in mind.

Point 1: It's mandated that wearing of masks is compulsory for both those working in the shop and for all customers.

Point 2: If you don't wear a mask as a customer, you won't get goods or services from the shop. This is called 'No mask-no goods/no services' policy.

Point 3: Violations will result in a fine of Rs 1,000.

Point 4: Foot markings for social/physical distancing with 4 feet.

Point 5: Provision of hand sanitizers at the entry and exits.

Point 6: Colour indication in Red for common touchpoints like elevator buttons and door handles.

Point 7: Wherever possible, the provision of automatic doors shall be in place.
