RD10 Chapter 2: Rana Daggubati's journey in a nutshell
Send us your feedback to audioarticles@vaarta.com
The second chapter of #RD10 is more engaging than the first chapter (which came out in February). At more than 6 minutes, the video encapsulates Rana Daggubati's journey right from 'Leader' (his debut), through flops ('Nenu Naa Rakshasi', 'Naa Ishtam' and 'Department'), and to the rise after 'Krishnam Vande Jagatgurum'. "It was because of 'KVJ' that Rajamouli roped me in for 'Baahubali'," Rana says.
Peppered with Rana's talk about how Mahesh Babu started as a young boy working hard and a grab of Megastar Chiranjeevi's advice to Rana, Chapter 2 also gives glimpses of how hard it was to shoot for 'Baahubali'. "We did all sort of crazy things. It was shot in Summer, Prabhas had a shoulder injury, Rs 190 Cr was borrowed on interest," Rana says. The rest, as they say, is history.
If Krish Jagarlamudi describes Rana as "the most hardworking", Rajamouli says that his will power makes him deliver the best.
Somewhere, Rana refers to the problem with one of his eyes. He also casts aside the "nepotism" talk with respect to his rise.
