RC16: Ram Charan welcomes Oscar Winner on Board on B-Day

On maestro AR Rahman's 57th birthday, the creators of RC 16, along with the globally acclaimed star Ram Charan, shared an exciting update with fans: Rahman will be composing music for RC 16, marking his return to Telugu cinema after a considerable hiatus. Charan conveyed his wishes to Rahman, expressing, Happy Birthday @arrahman sir, wish you health and happiness always.
Subsequently, Mythri Movie Makers echoed the announcement, stating, Welcoming the 'Mozart of Madras,' Academy Award-winning @arrahman on board for #RC16. Happy Birthday 'Isai Puyal'. RC 16 will feature a dynamic musical score by the legend.
The news stirred enthusiasm among fans, as evident from their comments. One fan exclaimed, Bombastic Update, while another joyfully noted, Finally, ARR doing a Telugu film after ages.
Switching to Ram Charan's professional front, RC 16, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the mastermind behind Uppena, promises an intriguing collaboration. Buchi Babu Sana expressed his excitement about working with AR Rahman, revealing that the acclaimed musician readily agreed to join the project after hearing the story idea. The film, described as a rustic action thriller, marks Ram Charan's first onscreen partnership with both the musical maestro and the talented director.
Reports suggest that Ram Charan will be essaying a distinctive role in the untitled film. Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar is slated for a pivotal role, and although unconfirmed, there are indications that Sai Pallavi might be the female lead. The project, anticipated to commence production soon, is backed by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.
In addition to RC 16, Ram Charan is eagerly anticipating the release of RC 15, titled Game Changer, co-starring Kiara Advani. Directed by S Shankar and scripted by Tamil filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj, the political thriller is reportedly being produced on a grand scale with a budget of Rs 450 crore, as announced last year.
