S.J Suryah proved his mettle as a very successful filmmaker working with superstars such as Ajith, Vijay and Mahesh Babu. He later switched to acting and became one of the hit heroes in Kollywood.

In recent times Suryah began his second innings as a villain opposite Mahesh Babu in 'Spyder' and Vijay in 'Mersal'. However his best as a baddie came in last years mega hit 'Maanaadu' directed by Venkat Prabhu and starring Simbu in the lead role.

S.J. Suryah post the success of 'Maanaadu' is commanding a salary that is equal to the heroes in his films. A strong buzz in Tollywood is that he has been roped in to play the chief antagonist in director Shankar's 'RC15'. It is said that the news is kept a secret and will be annouced as the next big update on the film.

'RC15' has Ram Charan in the lead and is the fiftieth film of ace producer Dil Raju and has music by Thaman. The strong starcast comprises of Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, Anjali, Sunil, Srikanth, Naveen Chandra and Jayaram.
