It was earlier reported that scriptwriter T A Razaaq will turn an independent director with a movie which will feature Megastar Mammootty in the lead. But for the time being, Razaq is not waiting for the dates of Mammooty and has already announced his debut movie as a director in the title 'Soumyam Deeptham'. A take on the real life story of Soumya, who was brutally raped and murdered after being pushed off from a moving train, Raazaq will bring in a fresher to do the role of Soumya. Asif Ali will come in the role of Soumya's love interest while Mamtha Mohandas will appear as a bold girl who comes for her help in the train. The movie will also feature Samudirakani in the role of a lawyer.

T A Razaaq has already completed the scripts of the movie and will proceed to the shoot in a couple of weeks.
