Raviteja’s Mass Jathara Locks OTT Release Date

Ravi Teja’s latest film Mass Jathara, which hit theatres recently, failed to make an impact at the box office, marking the actor’s fifth consecutive setback. Despite the buzz around the project, the film received poor response from audiences and critics alike, with many pointing to its outdated mass elements, weak narration, and predictable execution.

Directed by noted writer Bhanu Bhogavarapu in his debut directorial venture, Mass Jathara features Ravi Teja in the role of a Railway Police Force officer, with Sreeleela playing the female lead. The film was heavily trolled on social media, and even loyal fans expressed disappointment, urging the star to step away from repetitive commercial formulas.

Produced by Sithara Entertainments, the film secured its digital release deal with Netflix well in advance, thanks to the production house’s strong collaboration with the platform. As per the agreement, Mass Jathara will make its OTT debut four weeks after its theatrical release.

Netflix has officially announced that the film will begin streaming on November 28, and it is already listed under the platform’s “Coming Friday” section.

Meanwhile, Ravi Teja has shifted his focus to his next project, Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi, a family-oriented drama directed by Kishore Tirumala. The actor is reportedly aiming for a fresh change in his lineup, moving away from routine mass entertainers.
