Director AS Ravikumar Choudary, who gave hits like 'Manasutho…, Yagnam, Veerabhadra and Aatadistaa…' is turning a producer very soon.

He launched his own banner called 'Rugveda Arts' in the name of his daughter. He is planning to start a film on the banner and the script for the subject is also ready.

According to sources close to him, it is a beautiful love story which also contains several commercial elements. In fact, an NRI producer came forward to do a film with Ravikumar after the release of 'Aatadistaa…'.

However, the director wanted to bring out a film without any compromise on the subject and doesn't want to trouble others with his experimental subject. Hence he himself took the initiative and started his own banner.

The production unit would be formally announced soon.
