Actor Ravikrishna is highly hopeful these days.

He feels his Ponniyin Selvan would do repeat the magic of his 7G Rainbow Colony. And that is indeed a high hope.

Directed by Azhagiya Theeyae fame Radha Mohan, the new film will show which way is Ravikrishna's career headed.

Ravikrishna says the movie is all about a youth who goes in search for happiness without realizing that it is already present deep in himself. A sequence of events helps him realize this.

"I played a irresponsible youth in 7G, whereas in Ponniyin Selvan, it is totally contradictory. I play a responsible youth who strives for the betterment of his family".

Radha Mohan says "It's a emotional film and Ravikrishna has done his best and so has Gopika acting opposite him. The movie would be a lesson for youngsters'.

Producer A M Rathinam says, 'ever since Radha Mohan narrated the story to me, I was really impressed.

The movie being released simultaneously in Telugu too this July will no doubt establish Ravikrishna firmly as a frontline hero."

Vidyasagar's foot-tapping music and Ravikrishna's make-up resembling Sivaji Ganesan in Deiva Magan would be the highlight of the movie.
