Ravi Varman wields megaphone

Ravi Varman, who cranked camera for films like Five Star and Autograph is all set to makes his debut as a director. The likes of Balu Mahendra, P C Sreeram, Rajeev Menon, Santhosh Sivan graduating from cinematography to direction has inspired Ravi Varman too.

He will be directing a movie for Kalaipuli Thanu. He has written the story and dialogues of the movie. Earlier working as an assistant to ace cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, he made his debut in Five Star, directed by Susi Ganesan and produced by Manirathnam. His last movie was Jairam produced by Radhika Sarath Kumar.Apart from Tamil movies he has worked in several Malayalam films like Santham and Viswaraththu Water and Hindi movies like Armaan and Phir Milenge.
