Venu Sriram, the director of 'Oh My Friend' fame, was supposed to do a film with Ravi Teja as the hero. It turned out that the project fell apart owing to Ravi Teja's last minute walk-out. Following this, the director got a project finalised with Nani as the hero.

This has got many to claim that what was offered to Mass Maharaja has since been offered to Natural Star. We learn that this is not true. While Venu Sriram had an action film for Ravi Teja, what he has offered to Nani is an emotional family entertainer script.

Surely, Nani is lucky to have got in his kitty one more genre in which he can be presumed to excel.
