It has been speculated that the 'Disco Raja' star's movie with 'Nenu Local' director Trinadha Rao Nakkina' has been shelved permanently. Our sources say that the rumour is totally unfounded. The project is very much on. It will go on the floors after the lockdown.
The untitled film has taken a break temporarily because of the second wave. Had it not been for the slowdown in cinema activity since April, it would have made the expected progress by now. Pre-production works have been completed for the most part.
The 'Amar Akbar Anthony' actor is also going to team up with director Sarath Mandava. The debutant filmmaker has enlisted 'Karnan' (Tamil) actress Rajisha Vijayan and 'Majili' actress Divyansha Kaushik for the movie. A thriller, it will be bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas LLP. Kollywood music director Sam CS is on board.
After the lockdown is lifted, 'Khiladi' will hit the screens. This Ravi Teja film is directed by Ramesh Varma.
