The Committee of Administrators, appointed by the Supreme Court, has decided that Ravi Shastri will continue as the coach of the Indian cricket team till the end of the ICC WT20 to be held in 2021. The meeting to take the decision was held by Kapil Dev, Anshumam Gaekwad, and Shanta Rangaswamy.
Shastri has been favoured by Virat Kohli. With India's shocking defeat in the Semi Final match of the recent World Cup tournament, many voices went up against the Shastri-Kohli duo.
Tom Moody, Robin Singh, Lalchand Rajput, and Mike Hesson were also in contention for the post.
