In the colloquial language 'Government Brahmin' is referred for backward class community. Already in the controversy for 'Satyananda' role actor Ravi Chetan is now taking on a film titled 'Government Brahmin'.

'Government Brahmin' is a novel that won the Sahitya Academy for Aravinda Malagatthi. The film went on the floor at Alanahalli Vasavi Shanthidhama in Mysore. Dalit, farmer and Gokak Chaluvali Kannada movements are part of this film. The Gokak movement for primacy to Kannada taken up by Dr Rajakumar in the early 1980's is utilized for this film that will be shot in 17 days single schedule. Some of the people who took part in the Gokak Movement who are still living are part of this film.

Author of this autobiography 'Government Brahmin' Aravind Malagatthi is the dialogue writer. Ravi Chetan is in the lead role. Roshani is the female lead. Bhimaraj who was a slave in real life later transformed to better life is in an important role. Ramesh Bhat, Mandya Ramehs, Thanmayi Kashyap, Apoorva, Bali, Srihari, Sunanda Hegde, Jayaram and others are in the cast.

PKH Doss is the cameraman. Sathyalingaraju is the director of this film. Pravin Godkindi is the music composer of this shoestring budget cinema.
