Samanyudu director Ravikumar Chavali had a story for Balakrishna. Ramesh Puppala, who debuted as producer with Mirapakai, was on the look-out for a winning idea. Their purposes were realized when the director narrated his script to the budding producer. And when Balakrishna heard it and gave the green signal after he was thoroughly inspired by the story, the producer of Yellow Flowers was convinced that he would make the film into a sensational celluloid avatar.

The film will be launched on Feb. 6. Ravikumar Chavali promised to present Balayya in a new dimension and said that the film would have all the essential elements. He is the story and screenplay writer of the film.

Samanyudu told the story of a journalist (played by Jagapathi Babu) who works to expose the corrupt with tenacity by orchestrating sting operations. It is to be seen what kind of role Balakrishna would play here.

Since Balayya will be taking a plunge into electoral politics in 2014, the kind of roles he will play in the coming years will be keenly watched. Meanwhile, Adhinayakudu will be released later this month.
