Raveendran signs Kannan

ÂKanden Kadhalai Kannan is on cloud nine. For the filmmaker has got two reasons to feel happy. The first, becoming father to a girl child, and the second, bagging an offer from a prestigious production house.
According to sources, KannanÂs forthcoming film will be produced by R RaveendranÂs Dream Valley Corporation, whose magnum opus ÂAayirathil Oruvan will hit the screens this Pongal.
Impressed by KannanÂs first two ventures (ÂJayam Kondaan and ÂKanden KadhalaiÂ), Raveendran has expressed interest to make a film with him, it is said. Following this, Kannan narrated a story to the producer for which he has given his consent.
ÂThe film would be a romantic entertainer which would cater to all sections of the audience, sources add. Kannan was working as an associate with Mani Ratnam before marking his debut with ÂJayam KondaanÂ.
