After Rani Mukherji, it’s the turn of the “Sheher Ki Ladki” Raveena Tandon to don the Marathi shades.

In her forthcoming film ‘Gin Liya Aasman’, Raveena is playing a Maharashtrian character. And let we tell you, the charming actress is not going to speak the normal Marathi, which the locals speak. Instead her character speaks the typical dialect which is spoken in interior villages of Maharashtra. For this, Raveena is said to be taking special lessons in Marathi.

Although she knows Marathi, the Mumbai mulgi however found it tough to learn Marathi spoken in rural areas.

Raveena, who made an exciting comeback with a special number in ‘Bbuddah...Hoga Tera Baap’, will play a mother to a six-year-old boy. Touted to be a Hindi and Marathi venture, ‘Gin Liya Aasman’ revolves around the boy whose father, a naval officer went missing after a plane crash.

Produced by Mudassar Aziz, Vishwajit Gaikwad and Anil Bohra, the film will be released in mid-2012.
