Actress Raveena Tandon was recently seen as a politician in the highly anticipated action thriller 'KGF: Chapter 2'. During a promotional interview for the same, Raveena talked about one of the most iconic films of her career 'Andaz Apna Apna'. Released in 1994, 'Andaz Apna Apna' also starred Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Karishma Kapoor and it has attained a cult status over time.
Talking about what made 'Andaz Apna Apna' so successful and timeless, Raveena said, "I think I have a theory for that because at the time when Andaz Apna Apna released, there were lot of these double meaning dialogue kind of comedies and a little bit of buffoonery that was working."
The actress further added, "This was a clean family oriented comedy which came across as straight face comedy and not the over-the-top kind, it was a bit over-the-top, it's just not the double meaning dialogues, and the obscenity that was funny. So I think it didn't work with the audience, it was a sudden difference and at that time, they were not ready to accept something like this, but then later on it caught on so well."
