Recently, Raveena Tandon shed light on the safety of workplaces for women in the past, and many people have come out in her support, including Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. Raveena Tandon, in a recent interview with Zoom, compared the safety of workplaces then versus now, when there are fewer women. She recounted instances where her co-stars stood up for her, such as a girly shoot in Dalhousie.
The whole unit became arm-in-arm with each other against some unruly locals. Unity was re-emphasized by Tandon from within the bed of the unit to the outside world, like a family.
Woman filmmaker Tandon underlined the need for further improvement, recognizing that the long way women's workplace safety has come, you can call the situation better only with more women at work.
Tandon was excited about the rising numbers of women working and taking on leadership roles in his industry. Currently, he is directing a film called "Patna Shuklla" with a lady Director of Photography (DoP) for the first time.
Meghna Tandon debuted in the web series "Karmma Calling," released on January 26th on Disney+Hotstar, with the amazing role of Indrani Kothari. One of the strongest pillars of the show, she is working in an incredible set with the likes of the late Satish Kaushik, Manav Vij, and Chandan Roy Sanyal in Patna Shuklla, helmed by Vivek Budakoti. Other projects where Tandon would come on screen were his appearance in 'Welcome to the Jungle', helmed by Ahmed Khan. Add to this cast an impressive list of actors that are viewable on the screen, including Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Sanjay Dutt, and, oh, so many others.
