Raveena Tandon, who was one of the topmost actresses of the 90s recently kicked off the second innings of her career. She made her OTT debut with the Netflix crime thriller 'Aranyak' and garnered a lot of praises for her portrayal of a tough and street smart cop, Kasturi Dogra. Now her fans may not be accustomed to see her play such tough and bold characters but Raveena herself believes that she has lot in common with her character Kasturi.
In a recent chat with India Today, she stated, "There was a lot of Kasturi that I could relate to. I think that is why she touched my heart when I said yes to this project. There are so many women out there, who face this dilemma all the time - getting divided between their family life, home, their in-laws, looking after their husbands and being there for them emotionally and physically, while giving their 100 per cent to their work, which is their dream job."
The actress concluded by saying, "And the onus of family is always on a woman, it always rests on women's shoulders. It is not like let's divide equally. Even in a subtle manner, we have also given out this message that families should rally around women and help them achieve their dreams and dream jobs."
