Since last few years, Southern films and superstars have been giving Bollywood a run for its money and the phenomenal success of Allu Arjun's recent outing 'Pushpa' is the latest example of this. Couple weeks back, Kangana Ranaut shared why the southern film industries are more effective and professional than Bollywood and recently, Raveena Tandon also stated that Bollywood has lot to learn from the regional cinema.
During a special chat with India Today, Raveena stated, "The Hindi film industry, of course, sometimes has a lot to learn from the South film industry. It is because the South strongly believes in content. But now, I see things are changing. I could say that probably 10 years ago, but now, definitely not. Now, everyone is equal and everyone is at par."
She further added, "If there are great films coming from the South film industry and other regional industries, there is great content coming from the Hindi film industry as well. So now, there has been a certain kind of wake-up that it is not about a certain formula that works. It is great content that works, which I think works for all industries."
On the work front, Raveena was last seen in the Netflix show 'Aranyak' and she is currently awaiting the release of 'KGF: Chapter 2'.
