In Bandra, Mumbai, Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon was involved in a scandal. She allegedly abused and assaulted three persons Saturday night. A viral video shows Tandon justifying herself for rash driving and hitting three people at Carter Road near Rizvi College. Tandon, clad in white, is surrounded by victims and locals who phoned the police. One victim said, "My nose is bleeding. She assaulted me."
Tandon pleads with witnesses to stop recording and avoid bloodshed in the video. She says, "Don't push. Despite crowds shouting "Maaro isko" (Hit her), please don't hit me.
Mohammed from Bandra narrated the event on video. He said Tandon's driver ran over his mother as she, her sister, and niece passed by. He claimed the driver assaulted his niece and mother when confronted. Mohammed reportedly accused Tandon of arriving intoxicated to defend her driver and attacking his mother, causing serious brain injuries.
Mohammed waited four hours at Khar Police Station, but they refused to register a FIR against Tandon. They requested we resolve the issue outside the police station. But why settle? He said he wanted justice for his mother's abuse.
Raveena Tandon has not addressed the charges.
