A troll most recently turned unsavoury toward Rashmika Mandanna. Posting a few childhood pics of the 'Dear Comrade' actress in a meme, the troll described the budding star heroine as 'dagar', which stands for prostitute in Kannada. "Who knew this little girl here would be an international dagar in future?" the meme asked.

The 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' actress was taken aback by the toxic comment. She was visibly hurt and in her strong counter, Rashmika spoke for herself and her fraternity as well. "I don't understand what you guys get by doing this to us actors. Is it because we are soft targets? Being a public figure doesn't mean that you can target us ruthlessly," she said.

Rashmika added, "I generally ignore negative comments. Say anything you want about our work. But nobody has the right to say things as per their will about our families or our personal lives. No actor deserves this crap."
