It has been days since the media has been claiming that Rashmika Mandanna's engagement to Sandalwood director Rakshit Shetty is on the rocks.  The 'Geetha Govindam' actress has finally opened up on the rumours.  She has suggested, albeit indirectly, that the love story between her and Rakshit is a thing of the past. She indicated it by saying that every story has two sides.  The media may have failed to see the other side but it's right in concluding that the R-R duo have called it quits.  

"Sorry I have been silent for so long, but I have been watching a lot of stories, articles, comments and trolls about me.  It has been disturbing me as to how I have been portrayed and everything blown out of proportion.  Yes, I definitely don't blame you guys for it because that's what you would believe and I am not here to justify anything or anyone," the 22-year-old actress began saying.  

"Just want to tell you guys that Rakshi, me or anyone in the industry shouldn't go through this.  I need to add that, just as how every coin has two sides, so does every story," she added.  

She then urged everyone to let her and her colleagues in the industry work in peace.  The 'DevaDas' and 'Dear Comrade' actress declared that she will continue to do Kannada films.  "I am here to stay, be it any language, any industry.  I will give my best shot," she signed off.
