Rashmika Mandanna’s next movie to have a Samantha connection?

Rashmika Mandanna is making daily headlines all over India and once again, the good news for her fans is expected to arrive in style. This National Crush is expected to join hands with Samantha’s ex-husband Naga Chaitanya for the first time.

According to reports, director Parasuram is keen to cast Geeta Govindam actress Rashmika Mandanna, opposite Chaitanya as his love interest. The pairing would be fresh and is expected to create a positive buzz for the film if Rashmika signs the dotted line.

Parasuram Petla previously directed the Kodava Beauty in the 2018 comedy Geetha Govindam. If things go as planned, this will mark Naga Chaitanya’s first collaboration with Rashmika Mandanna. Last month, there were rumours that this yet-to-be-announced film will have a special connection with Naga Chaitanya’s grandfather and veteran actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Reports suggest that the movie will be titled after the actor’s grandfather’s name.

Rashmika Mandanna was last seen in the romantic drama Sita Ramam. The Dulquer Salmaan-led flick opened in theatres on August 5 and received positive reviews from fans. On the other hand, Rashmika is paired opposite Sidharth Malhotra in the spy thriller Mission Majnu, directed by Shantanu Bagchi. Rashmika plays the leading lady opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Animal, Sandeep Vanga’s second Bollywood film after the Shahid Kapoor-led Kabir Singh. She also has Varisu opposite Thalapathy Vijay.
