Rashmika Mandanna received backlash from the Kannada film industry for not watching Kantara. The Kannada star recently attended an event in Hyderabad where she revealed that she finally watched the movie and even congratulated the team on the success of the film. Responding to all the hate she has been receiving from people on social media, Rashmika said that she just has a love for them.

“I was asked if I watched the film 2-3 days after its release. I couldn’t back then. I’ve now watched it and also messaged the team. They also thanked me for the message. The world doesn’t know what’s happening on the inside. We can’t put a camera on our personal lives and show it,” she said

She added that people’s views on her personal life don’t matter to her. It is their views on her professional projects that she pays attention to. Rashmika also addressed the news that she is being banned from the Kannada film industry and said, “So far, no producer has banned me.”

Rashmika Mandanna will be next seen in Tamil superstar Vijay’s Varisu, which is due in cinemas on the Pongal holiday. Meanwhile, Rashmika will soon commence work on the second part in the Pushpa franchise. The film will see her reunite with Allu Arjun. The project will hit the screens next year.
