The ‘R’ race continues in Kannada film with Rashmika Mandanna joined the race of popularity of Ramya, Rakshita, Radhika, Ragini, Radhika Chetan etc.
It was a fantastic beginning for Rashmika Mandanna in the year 2017 because her first film ‘Kirik Party’ registered a mammoth success in this year. The film was release at the end of December 2016. The distinction is in one year – three super star films in Kannada all clicking in the box office makes Rashmika Mandanna new hat trick heroine.
The beautiful lass from Virajpet of Coorg district in fact came to cinema when she was in second year graduation in journalism, English literature and psychology at MS Ramaiah College.
Rashmika Mandanna in fact was the first half heroine of ‘Kirik Party’ and in the middle of the year 2017 she exchanged ring at engagement with hero and producer of the film ‘Kirik Party’ – Rakshit Shetty the biggest development of her personal life.

She won hearts with two more releases in December month of 2017. ‘Anjani Phthra’ with power star Puneeth Rajakumar for producer MN Kumar in A Harsha direction and ‘Chamak’ with golden star Ganesh in producer TR Chandrasekhar and Simple Suni direction – both films got rave reviews for Rashmika – this obviously makes heroine of the year 2017.
While Rashmika Mandanna colleague in ‘Kirik Party’ Samyuktha Hegde with one film ‘College Kumara’ hit the headlines in the controversy category – Rashmika Mandanna maintained a steady cool environment with her new Audi Car purchase in the year.
In adjacent Andhra Pradesh she has two Telugu films getting ready to hit the silver screen. ‘Chalo’ is releasing with Naga Shourya in February, a film with Arjun Reddy hero Vijay Devarakonda is titled as ‘Geetha Govindam’, she has one film in Tamil slated to begin. Back home she is likely to be heroine for Dhruva Sarja ‘Pogaru’.
