For Eid, Salman Khan announced his new project called "Sikandar" this year. The cast was also announced, which made people even more excited. The makers, Nadiadwala Grandson, said on Thursday that Rashmika Mandanna will play alongside Salman in the movie. Their post's caption said they were looking forward to seeing how Salman and Rashmika will interact on TV when Eid 2025 rolls around.

Taking to her Instagram account, Rashmika expressed her joy and honor at becoming a part of "Sikandar." Though this is their first movie together, Rashmika and Salman initially met on the reality TV show Bigg Boss 16, when Rashmika and Neena Gupta promoted Rashmika's first Hindi film, Goodbye.

Salman Khan and AR Murugadoss, the director of "Ghajini," team together in "Sikandar." Taking to Instagram to announce the news, AR Murugadoss wished everyone a happy Eid and extended an invitation to see "Sikandar" in theaters on Eid 2025.

Prior projects for Salman Khan include Maneesh Sharma's "Tiger 3" with Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi and a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan." Last year, he also acted in "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan" and hosted the 17th season of Bigg Boss, which Munawar Faruqui won.
