As we reported earlier, Vijay's next film 'Thalapathy 66' was launched today on a propitious note with a formal pooja ceremony in Chennai. Touted to be made in Tamil & Telugu, this project marks the 66th film in the actor's career, directed by Vamshi Paidipally and funded by Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations. 

Reportedly, the regular shoot begins today with a song sequence. Thaman S is roped in to score music for 'Thalapathy 66'. Meanwhile, Rashmika and Vijay's cute candid clicks from the pooja event are winning hearts on the internet. The actress is a huge fan of Vijay and enjoyed her fangirl moment with him today, which can be seen in the adorable photos. These viral images are spreading like wildfire on social media. 

Sharing the pictures of the same on her Instagram handle, Rashmika Mandanna wrote, "Ok now this feels like something else.. ❤️❤️ Been watching sir for years and years and now to do everything that I’ve been wanting to do.. act with him, dance with him, take his nazar, talk to him.. everything .. yaaaaay finally! ??❤️ An absolute delight.. ❤️ #thalapathyvijay @srivenkateswaracreations @directorvamshi sir.. ❤️❤️❤️ Cheers to new beginnings.. ??????"
