In January last year, ten Income-Tax department sleuths raided Rashmika Mandanna's house and properties in Karnataka's Kodagu district, where her house was searched. More than a year after the raids, the star actress has blamed baseless rumours for the development.
Recently, while promoting her upcoming movie 'Pogaru' (a Kannada film that will be released in Telugu as a dubbed version), the 'Bheeshma' actress was asked whether it's true that she is getting paid a whopping Rs 2 Cr per film. Refuting the figure, Rashmika said that no producer would be willing to give her that kind of a figure.
The 'Pushpa' actress also said that such rumours had triggered the IT raids on her premises.
The multi-lingual actress, who is also doing films in Hindi and Tamil, will be seen in a bubbly role in 'Pogaru', which will hit the screens on February 19.
