Rashmi Gautam has expressed her willingness to promote the cause of menstrual hygiene for free. As a celebrity, the 'Jabardasth' host wants to do her bit for the noble cause, which is an important issue surrounding women, especially those from the poor sections of the society.

"Akshay Kumar sir also made a movie called 'Pad Man'. How many of you are willing to buy and distribute sanitary napkins to underprivileged girls near your society and spread awareness about menstrual issues? PS: I have not tagged the celebrity in any of my posts," she tweeted out today.

When someone engaged in the cause asked her if she would be ready to promote the cause without charging any endorsement fee (unlike other celebs), Rashmi said she has been doing it in her own way and will continue to do more. "I am doing my bit in every way possible and also have organizations and people to vouch for it," she said.
