Jeeva, better known as 'Lollu Sabha' Jeeva, was seen in some Tamil movies, doing comical roles. Now he is set to become the 'hero', as he will play the lead role in a film titled 'Mappillai Vinayagar'.

The movie, which will be an extension of K Bhagyaraj's cult hit 'Mundhanai Mudichu', will be directed by Sriram Padmanabhan, who helmed 'Doo' before.

Bhagyaraj and Oorvasi, the lead actors of 'Mundhanai Mudichu', will play key roles in the movie. Pandiarajan, Santhanam, Manobala and Singamuthu are also there.

Bollywood actress Rashmi Gautham, who has made her debut in Kollywood with Santhanu in 'Kanden', will be the leading lady of 'Mappillai Vinayagar'.

According to the director, the movie is about unmarried bachelors of age 30 plus and it will be a laugh riot.
