Rashmi & Anasuya: Cherry-picking their way

Two TV hosts who have gone glamorous in recent times are Rashmi Gautham and Anasuya Bharadwaj. While the former has come to acquire the image of a (bold) glam doll, Anasuya with her choicest approach is seen as someone on her way to carve an experimental actress' image. For that matter, Rashmi, by playing the role of a love-crazy zombie in 'Tanu Vachenanta' has similar intentions.
Contrary to what many people think, Rashmi has been choosy much like Anasuya. After playing a suggestive role in 'Guntur Talkies', Rashmi was flooded with a number of item song offers. She, however, turned them down because she wants to do what she calls "special songs" only opposite big heroes or under big banners. When it comes to characters, the "Princess" of her heart doesn't want to do inconsequential roles.
That Anasuya, too, is in no hurry has been pretty clear from the beginning. After 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' and (especially) 'Kshanam', she must have been sought after widely by many. Anasuya may even have changed her approach now. She may no longer be inclined to do bit roles like what she did opposite Nagarjuna in 'SCN'. She is said to have rejected female lead's role in a Brahmanandam film.
Both having been in the limelight for many years and dabbling in TV as well at the same time, it's not surprising that they are taking calculated steps.
