The Raja dominion is not a surprise to Malayalee audience; as he churns out anything in Malayalam, it is sure to climb the hit charts. This hit parade is going on for the last 25 years without an exception, and holds true again to his new film 'Rasathantram'.

The highlight of the film itself are the soft, inspiring songs - four in numbers composed by the master music maker -Ilayaraaja. Written gracefully by Girish Puthenchery, the audio album of Rasathantram features the renditions of K.J. yesudas, K.s. Chithra, Manjari, Madhu Balakrishnan and Vineeth Sreenivas.

Apart from the magical tunes, another notable aspect of the album is definitely Manjari., whose variable tones has remarkably contributed to two songs in the album, the highlight being 'Attinkara'. This solo song by Manjari is definitely the best of the lot with effusive, volatile rendering by the gifted upcoming singer. The song is sure to bring much acclodates to Manjari.

This hit chemistry is evident even in the earlier songs sung by Manjari for Raja films like Achuvinte Amma and Ponmudipuzhayorathu. The other song of Manjari in the album is a duet with Madhu Balakrishnan 'Ponnavanipaadam'. A rehash of Raja's stylization in Tamil, this song is also definite to capture audiences.

A very different track in the album is 'Poo Chembakapoo' rendered as separate solos by Yesudas and Chithra. A simple piece constructed as a nostalgic euphony with eloquent, contentful lines pass muster for great listening. The other song in the album is the fast paced, soulful 'Thevarum' sung by Vineeth Sreenivasan. Even this song stand apart from normal foot tappers with its simple non-techno orchestration and rustic spirits in lyrics and unsophisticated usage of vocals and chorus.

The album is sure bet for money and for soulful listening. once again it's sure, the 'Raja' will never let you down.
