Recently we have seen power star Puneeth Rajakumar dancing for the song Muthuraja Bandha Side Bido Le….in the film ‘Raj The Showman’ with five yesteryears heroines of his father Dr Rajakumar – Jayaprada, Jayanthi, Jayamala, Bharathi Vishnuvardhana and Urvashi.

On last Monday evening four heroines of Girish Kasaravalli films – Dr Jayamala of ‘Thai Saheba’, Thara of ‘Haseena’, Pavitra Lokesh of ‘Naayi Neralu’, Umasri of ‘Gulabi Talkies’ were seen in a rare photograph. Sadly actress Soundarya the fifth heroine who acted in ‘Dweepa’ of Girish Kasaravalli was remembered with a honor to her photograph. Soundarya won the best actress award from the Karnataka Government for her role in ‘Dweepa’.

At the Basanth Residency it was a rare honor made by producer Basanthkumar Patil to all the national and state award winning actresses who worked with four times Swarna Kamal award winning director Girish Kasaravalli.

Girish Kasaravalli did not make any steps like screen heroes but posed for the photographs. Basanthkumar Patil is looking for a hat trick. He has produced ‘Naayi Neralu’ and ‘Gulabi Talkies’ in the direction of Girish Kasaravalli has now taken up ‘Kanasemba Kudureyaneri’. What is interesting of this new film of Girish Kasaravalli is that he is repeating actress Umashree again in the lead role. Biradar a comedy actor and stage performer is the counterpart to Umashree. The veteran stage actor for nearly five decades Gudigeri Basavaraj the husband of great actress Kalpana is appearing in an important role of ‘Kanasemba Kudureyaneri’ that is based on the novel ‘Savaari’ by Ashok Nudugoni.

The shooting for Girish Kasaravalli’s yet another hopeful film starts from 20th of this month.
