Raraju
Gopichand is a no-nonsense man. He is very sure in what he wants to do. Not for him, the false arty pretensions.
He has set out to become a mass, action hero, and is well on his way.
It is this clear-sighted attitude that has taken him from a small villain actor into one of the popular mass heroes.
So with such a background to him, there is little to guess what kind of movie that Raraju will be.
But having said that the movie will be a mass masala potboiler, director Uday Shankar has also ensured that the flick will have plenty surprising turns and interesting twists.
For one, Gopichand's is not a larger-than-life hero character alone. It has some shades of grey and black. `The hero is not uni-dimensional,' says the director.
The director, who has made films like Kalisundam Raa, says `action sequences will also be a big plus for the film. Gopichand has done a sincere job'
Some sources say that the hero has a villainous streak. `It will be interesting,' adds the director, without divulging the essential knot.
Meera Jasmine plays the heroine. For added glamour there is Ankitha, who plays a cop on screen.
`Their characterizations are also very innovative. We have avoided the clinches,' points out the director.
Sivaji, Chandramohan, Jayaprakash Reddy, Asish Vidyarthi, Venumadhav, MS Narayana are also in the cast.
Mani Sharma's music can only be a big contributing factor to the film's success.
The movie has been shot in places like Vizag, Pollachi, Bangkok and Thailand.
Producer G V G Raju has been a big plus for the team. The man, who last made the sensitive Godavari, has made this under his SSC Arts banner.
Raju has varied interests and matches his mind with diverse movies.
Raju has a penchant for quality entertainment.
Raraju is good example of that.
The film releases for Diwali.
