B-town's next lover boy Ranveer Singh has charmed over his producers this time... As we all know prince charming Ranbir Kapoor was in news for being considered for the Hindi remake of 1990 Telugu smash hit 'Magadheera’ that starred Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan.

But as luck would have it YRF's discovery Ranveer Singh will be the lead in this 50 crore budget magnum opus to be made by Anurag Kashyap’s production house Phantom.

Set in two different eras 'Magadheera' goes on floor this year.

Confirming Ranveer’s appointment as the lead in 'Magadheera' Hindi remake, producer Vikas Bahl says, “Magadheera is a passion project for us at Phantom and are so excited to have the rights to re create this magical piece of work, that blew us. Ranveer is the best thing that could have happened to it. He has all the ingredients to be a passionate lover a warrior and an entertainer all at the same time. All the biggest fans of Magadheera are coming together to re-create its magic with the support of Aloo Arvind.”
