Former Indian skipper and world cup winner Kapil Dev suffered an heart attack on Thursday. Many current and former cricketers along with Bollywood stars conveyed their well wishes and prayed for his good health through their social media channels. Kapil was admitted to ICU and underwent angioplasty and is reported to be stable now.

Actor Ranveer Singh wished for Kapil's speedy recovery in a tweet that stated, "The Legend @therealkapildev embodies strength and resilience. Praying for a speedy recovery of my main man." Ranveer will be seen essaying the role of former cricketer in Kabir Khan's upcoming movie '83'.

Kapil's teammate Chetan Sharma tweeted a photo in which Kapil seems to be in good shape and happy mood. Kapil can be seen giving a double thumbs up to the camera with his daughter sitting beside him.
