Has success gone into the head of one film old Ranveer Singh or is it a publicity stunt? We don’t know but the mighty Khans were at the receiving end during the launch of ‘Lootera’ starring Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha.

The ‘Band Baaja Baarat’ actor took a dig at Salman and Aamir at the launch of Phantom productions ‘Lootera’.

Starting with the perfectionist Aamir, Ranveer made an entry sporting the 50’s look from the film wearing a high waist pant and commented. “Now on, I will only wear pants over my tummy, like Aamir Khan’.

Needless to add the media person present got their piece. But there was more to come. When quipped about Sonakshi, Ranveer said that he first saw the trailer of ‘Dabangg’ on youtube and immediately he said the famous dialogue in a hurry, “ Thapad se dar nahin lagta saab, pyaar se lagta hai’. After that he immediately went on to do the Salman’s signature jig by using the stage for sometime. Sonakshi obliviously didn’t find it amusing.

Adding salt to the injury, the event happened at Yash Raj Studios who are producers of Salman, Katrina starrer ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and Aamir ‘Dhoom 3’. The producers Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl and director Vikramaditya Motwane stopped Ranveer from saying anything after the Salman jig.

‘Lootera’ is the debut of Phantom productions launched by Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Madhu Mantena and Vikas Bahl. The film is set in 1950’s and will be shot in Bengal. Music is scored by Amit Trivedi.

It should be mentioned that Ranveer is starring in Yash Raj’s forthcoming, “Ladies v/s Ricky Behl’ and how necessary was this joke on Salman and Aamir to gather publicity... it must be remembered that not very long ago things where not rosy between Kashyaps and Salman’s brother Arbaaz the producer of Dabangg... Even then but why Aamir.. Is it a publicity stunt or success has gone into the head of Ranveer Singh?
