Gifted actor Ranveer Singh has played a wide range of characters in his career and his role in the upcoming film 'Jayeshbhai Jordar' is going to be another feather in his cap. The trailer of the film was released on Tuesday and it featured Ranveer in a role which shattered all the stereotypes attached with a typical Bollywood "hero".
Based on the issue of female foeticide and rural mindset of male child preference, 'Jayeshbhai Jordar' stars Ranveer as a meek and timid man Jayesh, who lives his life under the thumb of his regressive father (played by Boman Irani). However, Jayesh doesn't relate with the misogynistic and conservative society around him finally learns to take a stand for the safety of his family.
Judging by the trailer, the film is going to have lots of humor and emotion in it. Talking about the film, Ranveer had said, "It will make people laugh, cry, ponder and feel really, really warm when they see a feel-good film whose hero is the most innocent and honest person that you have met in a long, long time."
