Actor Ranveer Singh is all set to present a fresh and never seen avatar of himself in his upcoming film 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar'. Apparently, the actor is going to portray a Gujrati man and judging by the trailer, it seems like Ranveer has put a lot of effort to play his part accurately. In a recent media interaction, the actor revealed how he got his Gujrati accent right.
According to a report in ETimes, Ranveer said, "Because the way Jayeshbhai speaks is typical to those who hail from heartland Gujarat. I had to speak exactly how their Hindi would sound like and it was a necessary and an important task.”
Ranveer further added, "I did a couple of more things, thanks to my director Divyang, who is also from Gujarat. He surrounded me with amazing artists from the Gujarati theatre and film world who have been cast in Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Divyang ensured that they were always around me on the sets so that I could constantly rehearse my scenes with them. This was an invaluable process for me to become Jayeshbhai."
Also starring Shalini Pandey, Ratna Pathak Shah and Boman Irani, 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' is all set to release on 13th of May.
