Indian cinema is goig through a crucial phase as this is the time when the filmmakers from southern part and Bollywood are coming together to deliver exciting projects. There are rumors circling around that actor Ranveer Singh might collaborate with Tamil director, Shankar.

It was being reported couple days ago that Ranveer has taken a break from his ongoing Rohit Shetty film, 'Cirkus'. A source close to the actor confirmed this and revealed, "Yes, Ranveer Singh did take a break from the shoot of Cirkus around January-end/Early February, and flew down to Chennai to meet Shankar. It's a project that has been put together by Shankar and his team, and they want Ranveer Singh on board as the lead."

It seems like Ranveer is interested in the idea of a pan Indian film a Shankar seems like just the guy he'd like to collaborate with.
