The newlyweds – Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have always made it a point to stun everyone and make heads turn and this time as they arrived for the Star Screen Awards last night, it was their color coordinated outfits that stole our hearts! As if this was not enough for us, there was another beautiful moment that happened at the event.

To have achieved big and receive an award in front of your beloved one is something out of the world and when that dearest person supports you and acknowledges you and credits you for their success then this is something even bigger! Last night, when Ranveer won the “Best Actor award” for ‘Padmaavat’, his proud wifey could not hold back her tears. Holding the trophy, the ‘Simmba’ actor who got super-emotional said, “Film main mujhe Rani nahi mili ( I did not get the Queen in the film), but in real life, I have got my Queen,” pointing towards DP. He added, “Baby, I love you, pichhle 6 saal main maine kuch bhi achieve kiya hai, kyunki aap ne mujhe grounded rakha, centered rakha, thank you for everything and I love you. (Whatever I have achieved in the last 6 years is because you kept me centered and grounded)”.

Last but not the least, he thanked Sanjay Leela Bhansali for giving him the opportunity of playing the role of Khilji in ‘Padmaavat’ and for grooming him so well as an actor.

He also thanked his parents and his sister and finally dedicated his award to his granny who passed away this year.
