"Aankhon Hi Aankhon Mein Ishara Ho Gaya..." Goes the good old, classic song, featuring the romantic icon of bygone era - Dev Anand... And apparently one can look forward to Gen-Next Dev Anand through Vikramaditya Motwane's forthcoming film ‘Lootera’...

With his first film, Ranveer Singh made his mark in B-town. The young actor known for his super excited nature, played his part as that of a bubbly entrepreneur very well in his debut film, ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’. But now with his second film ‘Lootera’ one can see the high-on-energy actor mostly emoting through his body.

IndiaGlitz sources revealed that, when the actor was signed for ‘Lootera’, there were a few changes that were needed in him. Such that ‘Lootera’, being a period film demanded the actor to emote with his eyes.

Now being the director's actor Ranveer totally took up the process of improving himself on the same by watching a lot of Dev Anand movies.

Dev Anand was really known in his times for the splendid emotions he could portray in his films through his eyes... If one goes by the huge list of the legendary star, films like ‘Guide’, ‘JewelThief’ and ‘Hera Panna’ will stand tall among others, which are good example of Dev saab’s acting style... And Motwane wanted Ranveer to do the same.

‘Lootera’ is an eternal love story and story makes you feel a lot. We are sure that history will repeat itself with Lootera.

Starring Sonakshi Sinha in female lead, ‘Lootera’ is slated to hit screens on 5th July.
