Bittoo Sharma has cast his magic on everyone. Debutant Ranveer Singh who brought alive the character with full energy and dedication, impressed one and all of the industrywallas. Yash Raj Films’s ‘Band Baajaa Baaraat’ which released recently has proved yet again that they can recognise talent in anyone they set eyes on (Anushka Sharma for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi). And YRF sees to that the newbie shares a three-year rishta with them.

Well, even Ranveer has bagged the opportunity and the actor has been successful in getting a three-film contract from the production.

Birdies reveal that Ranveer has been roped in for their next movie which will be helmed by ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ director Shaad Ali. And buzz is that the film was earlier meant for Shahid Kapoor. However the director was not impressed when the actor didn’t respond properly and so Shaad finally dropped him from the project and opted for Ranveer instead.

Interestingly, birdies shared that Ranveer and Shaad's friendship goes back almost eight years and the former had also been assistant director to Shaad.

Hmmmmm, Shahid’s lose is Ranveer’s gain. Well, now let’s wait to see the kudi who will feature opposite Ranveer in this one….
