Ranveer Singh is going to collaborate with director Rohit Shetty for his upcoming film 'Cirkus'. It is not revealed that the film will be a comedy taking place in 1960s. The makers wanted to set the story in am era devoid of mobile phones and other modern gadgets so they chose 60s. The movie will take inspiration from
1982 film 'Angoor'.
In the film, Ranveer will play dual role which will lead to comedy of errors. 'Cirkus' also stars Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Sharma in pivotal roles. The filming schedule is currently going on in Mumbai and will soon move on to Goa and Ooty.
'Cirkus' will mark the reunion of Ranveer and Rohit after collaborating on 'Simmba'. The film is scheduled for a winter 2021 release.
