Ranveer - Audience will now see a different me

Ranveer Singh is sure that his next film won't be a romcom. While his 'Band Baaja Baaraat' was a massy entertainer and he too wants to work in films that stay within commercial boundaries, Ranveer is in look out for a film belonging to a genre other than a romcom.

Band Baaja Baaraat' was my starting point. With this film I had to prove myself and find acceptance as an actor. However, I can't be continuing to do the same thing film after film, says Ranveer confidently, Now is the time to show that I can do something different as well. As an actor I have to be versatile and I am sure that with my next film, audience will see a different aspect of my act.

Well, one looks forward to that happening soon. After all it would not just add on to the versatility of Ranveer as an actor but also prove to be a welcome addition for Bollywood which has been struggling to get a leading man who can be relied upon.

If rumours are to be believed, Ranveer's next film would be with director Shaad Ali (Saathiya, Bunty Aur Babli, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom) for Yash Raj Films itself. Now one waits to see how different does this team go here.
