Growing up in life with various works and finally settling down as director is the wish of his mother for this director of Rankal Raju` Gopi Kerur. Working as assistant director for a few top directors and getting a call from his aged mother to look for morning to evening job the writer in Gopi Kerur also stood up for a subject on skating sports. He is inspired from films like Sultal and Bag Milka Baag. For this film of a slum boy reaching the national level with medal he has brought in a curious turn with heroine in the film.

Rankal Raate` audio CD was released at Sri Chamundeswari Studio in the presence of Baisani Satish Kumar prooducer, Krishnamurthy Kautar theatre personality, Manu Advik, Ravi, Yashas, Ashreya, Prashanth, Poornima Nataka, Manarshi, Avinash Sriram were present on the dais at audio release time.

There are six songs in Rankal Rate audio scored by Avinash and Sriram. Three songs are penned by Manvarshi. The story, screenplay, direction and dialogue are by Gopi Kerur. Rankal Rate` is Cinema Krishi Movies maiden venture. Pravin M Prabhu is cameraman.
