Yesteryear actress Ranjitha, who was born as Sreevalli and made her debut in Tamil cinema in Bharathiraja's 'Naadodi Thendral' (with which she turned Ranjitha), shot to infamy in 2010 when she was caught in a compromising position with godman Swamy Nithyananda.

The video not only went viral, but also led to a series of denials and counter-allegations. Nithi had counter filed in the court that it is a fake video using morphing technology.

The Delhi Forensic Department, which conducted tests on the video, has concluded that it is indeed an original video and that the persons in it are Ranjitha and Nithi. The case comes up for hearing on December 5, reports say.

Note that Ranjith has been living as a Sanyasin in Bengaluru. She has assumed the name of Maa Anandamayi.
