Rani Mukerji as cop in YRF's next!

Get ready to see our charming Rani Mukerji in new avatar... After playing a lawyer (Veer Zaara) and journalist (No One Killed Jessica), Rani is taking up yet another power-packed role... and you would never guess what’s her role..!

Well, for the first time she is going to be playing the role of a cop in a Yash Raj Films’ forthcoming venture.

Titled ‘Mardaani’, YRF’s next release is with director Pradeep Sarkar. With Rani in the lead, the raw and gritty film will be YRF’s boldest subject ever to be made and a distinct departure from Pradeep Sarkar’s style of filmmaking.

According to YRF’s statement, the film will go on floor by the last quarter of the year and is slated for a 2014 release worldwide.
